Authorized vendors will only respond to inquiries where the Licensor, a publisher of “The Mugshots.com Database”, or a disseminator of “The Mugshots.com Database” content, communicates with the vendor on the basis of a request that has originated from an individual  requesting unpublishing services.

OPTIONAL PAID SERVICE: Publisher is powered by Licensor’s database (“The Mugshots.com Database”).  Publisher is a search engine for official law enforcement records, specifically booking photographs, mugshots. Public records and other material displayed on Licensor’s database (“The Mugshots.com Database”) are obtained from a variety of sources, including but not limited to official governmental sources and/or other third-party licensing agreement/s. There are a number of areas where Licensor and publishers will incur costs associated with unpublishing application submissions and subsequent content unpublishing from “The Mugshots.com Database”. Those costs include but are not limited to administrative, technical, legal, publishing, unpublishing, loss of licensing opportunity, and loss of other business opportunity costs.

Unpublishing service from “The Mugshots.com Database” described herein is offered due to repeat and unsolicited requests.

Each unpublishing application submitted by one of Licensor’s authorized vendors is thoroughly reviewed by a U.S licensed attorney and/or Licensor’s authorized personnel and must get final approval by Licensor’s board of directors before processing.

Pricing is set by Licensor and is based on associated legal, administrative, technical, data acquisition, publishing, unpublishing, and other costs.

Service Description:

Each Authorized Vendor is responsible for verifying that each client submission meets the established unpublishing criteria set forth. Once the information is verified by an Authorized Vendor, the request is then submitted for review. Upon submittal, a licensed U.S attorney and/or Licensor’s authorized personnel will review the case to verify the case status and eligibility for unpublishing from “The Mugshots.com Database”. Once the information is verified for the second time, the information is then entered into Licensor’s system for processing.

Courtesy service: Once an unpublishing order is approved and processed, Licensor and/or its agents will submit a “link removal” request to Google. The time frame that each Search Engine utilizes to perform the task of removal of inactive links (“Dead links”) will vary according to their own schedule. Major Search Engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing update their entire index regularly. Each of the major search engines tend to crawl the web and automatically find new pages, remove inactive links, and reflect updates to existing pages and websites, keeping the Search Engine indices fresh and as up-to-date as possible. Licensor and its agents have no control of the speed of which Search Engines may act on link removal requests.

THE EXISTENCE OF UNPUBLISHING SERVICES IS POSTED DUE TO REPEAT REQUESTS OF SUCH A SERVICE AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN OFFER TO SELL.
